Warehouse Newsletter 2026

Warehouse Newsletter October 2026

Hello all, this year has been incredibly busy so far but all is well and starting to calm down a little now as we move into the Winter months.

The early part of the year had been quite eventful in itself – as a family we went across to Northern Ireland and had opportunity to speak many times in a couple of weeks. We had the privilege of meeting with many friends and I (Jim) got to accompany a team into a nearby prison too.

We were accommodated by good friends, the Stuart family, who run a dairy farm south of Belfast we had some great times of worship in the evening in the local mission hall but also the children got stuck in on the farm – particularly Esther milking, Josh learning to drive a tractor, and Zoe helping look after all the calves.

Ireland here we come!

Then in April, Mary’s mother (Heather) moved into our annexe accommodation on the farm that we’d spent all winter building from an old dairy building. Unfortunately, Heather fell and broke her hip a few weeks before moving in. Her arrival was even more timely as we have been able to help her recover. She is now fully settled in and enjoying farm life.

Back in June we had the privilege of leading the first House of Prayer national gathering at the house of bread in the Cotswolds. We had a good number of houses of prayer represented and a really lovely time of worship and unity as we pursued the Lord’s heart together, and we saw some incredible miracles too.

As summer got into full swing, Zoe’s flock of sheep got infected with a virus called Blue Tongue, caused by mosquito bites. She lost many sheep with over 15+ sheep dying in a matter of weeks, whilst also losing money to vets bills and dead stock. It was heartbreaking to watch the sheep deteriorate – especially since Blue Tongue has no cure. Zoe was out in the field almost constantly, diligently caring for every sick animal. Thankfully her remaining sheep are healthy and well – please continue to pray that Zoe would see a miraculous increase and restoration of all the sheep that were stolen. We are so grateful to the many people who reached out to support Zoe through this, God’s community is so good!

For some time, I (Jim) had wanted to take a couple of the older children to Snowdonia to show them some of the places I used to visit. We had the most glorious weather days and headed over Crib Goch and up to Snowden summit. We also had the opportunity to catch up with some friends Mark and Dee who Jim had met on his previous pedal and pray bike ride when he’d cycled across Wales.

The following day we climbed Tryfan alpine style, moving together with a rope between us. Before heading home, we made our way to Little Tryfan and which is a famous place for rock climbing where I was able to teach the kids about some key lead climbing and abseiling principles.

August was a bit of a stay-at-home month with lots of jobs around the farm. We had some friends from Germany ask if their son Simon a landscaper could come and stay with us so he’s been with us for last few months helping us around the place building some walls and a fabulous fire pit too.

Around September time we had been given a substantial gift that enable us to take a holiday. As part of homeschool the last few years we’ve been studying different countries as part of the geography syllabus so we decided to take them on a trip where we went to the Ardennes, the Belgium border and then continued South to Annecy in the French Alps. We then continued South from there to the Ardeche Region. Unfortunately (definitely a first world problem!) the air conditioning had stopped working and it made it to 39 degrees inside the car which for us Brits is a bit of a challenge! We arrived at our third campsite to find an enormous water park and a High Ropes and Via Ferrata course. It was brilliant – and laced all the way through these activities there was numerous divine appointments and opportunities to lead people to the Lord or share the gospel.

Across the summer, we’ve also spoken a number of times at local churches, led national prayer gatherings and had general situations with visiting builders or delivery drivers where we’ve had some beautiful opportunities to share the goodness of God.

One such opportunity we were still getting some work done around the farm I needed some more cement and aggregates. The driver showed up from South West Fixings – a Christian company based down here in the South West. As he climbed out his truck he was clearly in pain. Whilst we were unloading I asked him about his backstory, he told me about his time working in prisons, and that his family had recently moved to Mid Devon. He then asked how long we’d been at the farm for. I told him that it was a long story that probably should come with a health warning. He was curious and I ended up telling him the story of how we got the farm. As we finished, I asked whether I could pray for his back as he was clearly a person of peace. He said I could, so I laid hands on him, prayed, and he left.

He messaged me a few hours later and told me that by the time he arrived at his next job his back had been totally healed and he could climb up onto the flatbed of his truck again! Praise the Lord!

Then in October I was invited to Sicily to help support our newly started House of Prayer for the Mediterranean Basin. A group from a number of different nations had been called to start a house of prayer, so I made my way over for five days just helping with worship and prayer and some vision for the future.

After a week of being back from Sicily I was invited to celebrate with the Franklin prayer house at their tenth anniversary in Franklin Tennessee. I flew out and had great divine appointments on the flight, including the opportunity to share full testimonies with a young student from Edinburgh heading to the States to meet her boyfriend. I then spent a week with Ryan and Karen Hall, prayer walking and just cheering their team on – It was such a privilege to be with them.

I’m now home and back with the family, as we celebrate our seventh anniversary at the Farm, and enjoy some family time.

Thank you so much for your prayers. If you’re interested in partnering with us financially prayerfully or just being involved in what we do, please make contact.

 God Bless,

 Jim, Mary, and Family.
