Wales Day 3. Sarn to Bala (Day 34)

Nick and Dawn James my hosts last night.

After a full English breakfast (thanks Nick) I got on the road at just after 9am.

I was hoping to go and see John and Mary Herbert nr Welshpool but I am finally realising with a big day in the mountains ahead of me unfortunately an extra 25km loop was not wise. So I headed through Montgomery (very pretty) and then Welshpool. I then turned North West and headed on up towards Bala via again some very big hills.

Not so many people to chat to today although did take a pastoral call but mainly hills and prayer.

I was really feeling a spirit of offence on the area around Welshpool.

I stopped in Bala for fish and chips and then headed the further 3.5 miles to my campsite next to tomorrow’s road junction over towards Ceregadridion.

Tomorrow Bala to Llanberis. Vision Pen y Pass
