{"id":3040,"date":"2025-06-04T07:52:02","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T06:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ndhop.org\/?p=3040"},"modified":"2025-06-04T07:52:02","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T06:52:02","slug":"ireland-day-38","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/?p=3040","title":{"rendered":"Ireland &#8211; Day 1 &#8211; (Day 38 round British Isles)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My 38th Day on a bike around the British Isles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday the family dropped me at Tiverton Parkway station with my bike (many tears) I switched trains in Birmingham to take the train to liverpool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250603_2101003328107970466863066-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3044\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">We visited this cathedral last week. Please pray for its leadership <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Had messaged Sue Sinclair from Community Watchman Ministries (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cwmprayer.com\/\">www.cwmprayer.com<\/a>) to let her know i was passing through and she kindly adjusted her diary and we met up for an hour in Liverpool. &#8211; always an encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I took the tube to Birkenhead (only 9 minutes) then rode across Birkenhead to the ferry port to catch the overnight boat from Liverpool to Belfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250603_1942487449761692435774457-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3046\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250603_2004107790678625007308243-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3045\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The crossing was smooth i upgraded to a cabin..slept really well. Arrived 6.30am. I had left myself a bit short on time as I had a train from Belfast to Port Rush at 7.20 and about 7km in between. Jesus said it&#8217;d make it i just needed to do my part !!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250604_0620202489727199370264845-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3047\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Belfast with the famous H and S cranes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I arrived at the station&nbsp;with three minutes to spare. Negotiatiated escalators as efficiently as possible with a loaded touring bike.. 30 seconds on the platform and train arrived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So just passing through Antrim as I write. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrived at Port Rush to some beautiful North Coast swell..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And straight onto Dunseverick Castle the start of the historic 5 roads. So I turned South and headed for Ballymena and to meet Jonathan Leakey and the ladies and Gents with him at Ballymena House of Prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1749028672721109870639406757760-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3053\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I arrived towards the end of their session but had a lovely time pray forbeach other and for their House of Prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250604_1433164837788499721923438-1024x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3054\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I took sometime for a sandwich and then headed south towards Antrim and loch nee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Legs were now tired.
