Sarn to Bala (Day 34)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/20250513_0908421806374651098832302-1024x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2759\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Nick and Dawn James my hosts last night.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After a full English breakfast (thanks Nick) I got on the road at just after 9am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was hoping to go and see John and Mary Herbert nr Welshpool but I am finally realising with a big day in the mountains ahead of me unfortunately an extra 25km loop was not wise. So I headed through Montgomery (very pretty) and then Welshpool.
