Had a time of worship and then got on the road towards Christchurch through the New Forrest before going for sea level and enjoying a ride across the promenade all the way to the sandbanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240914_112016872634044213190097-1024x474.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2529\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jim and Ronnie<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On my way through Christchurch, endeavouring to avoid main roads I spotted the Wick ferry.. only a short crossing but had a great divine appointment with the skipper Tony. Originally from Siccally ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240914_1159502041651755839613587-473x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2530\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Tony Skipper of Wick Ferry <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here I stopped for a bite to eat&nbsp; before catching the sandbanks ferry across to studland&#8230; it wascthen the hills began. Some slow but pleasant hours came and went as I rode up&#8230;and eventually down some quite sizeable hills!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/4acrefarm.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240914_1516117283833064454168235-473x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2527\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Beautiful views of the isle of portland but the spiritual weight to the south by the coast was&#8230; interesting!! Once north of the main road the &#8220;atmosphere&#8221; lightened and I continued towards Dorchester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago my front bike light stopped working so I needed to get off the road before dusk thus not getting to Dorchester.
